Left-hand and right-hand are referenced from the point of view of the tractor operator.
The flat backside of the belt rides on flat idlers; the inside vee rides in v-idlers and pulleys.

The parking brake latch eyebolt (#2, white) must be removed to replace the drive belt. Bring the front loop of the belt forward over the parking brake latch rod and reinstall the eyebolt.
Disconnect the drag link from the steering arm (#3, red). Bring the front loop around the steering shaft and reconnect the drag link.
Remove the belt guide from around the engine pulley. Put the belt on the upper engine pulley. Be sure the belt is within the guide shown at #4, red. Reinstall the guide. Disconnect the forward hook of the large idler tensioning spring from the frame bracket (#4, blue).
Run the back end of the belt around the transmission pulley and rear v-idler (#5).
Finally, route the belt around the tensioning idlers (#6). Reconnect the tensioning spring. Note the position of the spring's rearward hook (#6, white).
