Complete carb in place on a horizontal crankshaft pressure washer, gravity fuel feed (#1).
Carb removed from engine (#2). See disassembling the carb from engine.
#3 shows the removal of the main needle valve from the carb.
(#4) Main needle valve disassembled . When reassembling, first tighten nut into place on the carb body, then screw in needle to an initial setting of 1-1/2 turns out from seated. Main nozzle partially unscrewed from carb body.
Main nozzle unscrews from carb body (#5). The nozzle must be removed before the upper carb body with float can be removed. When reassembling, be sure nozzle slides into hole in the throat of the upper body assembly.
View from the top of upper carb body assembly showing four screws to be removed (#6).
View from above into carb bowl with upper body assembly removed (#7). The main nozzle must be removed (#5) before the upper body assembly can be removed.
#8 shows the upper body assembly removed from carb body.
The float hinge pin slides out with needle-nose pliers (#9). This carb uses a metal float needle and removable rubber needle seat. The float should be adjusted to rest parallel to the upper body assembly by bending the tang that pushes on the float needle.
Low-speed (idle mixture) needle valve (#10). Initial setting is 1-1/2 turns out from seated.
