 #1. Engine pulley and first idler pulley

First, remove mower deck (#1). It is not necessary to remove the electric PTO clutch. Remove two carriage bolts and nuts from the steering support (#4). You can now rotate the support as needed to maneuver belt. |
 #2. First idler, near engine pulley, belt around steering shaft

 #3. Belt at midpoint
|
Remove cotter pin and clevis pin from transmission linkage (#3, green arrow). Disconnect drag link from steering arm (#8, green arrow). |
 #4. Belt above steering support

 #5. Idlers near tranny
|
It is now possible remove the old belt and install a new one. |
